Male Adder (Vipera berus). Parc Slip, Aberkenfig, South Wales 2021-02-18.

My first Adder sighting for 2021. A sunny but breezy February afternoon with a temperature of about 9ºC to 10ºC.

I managed to capture a few images from a distance of 3 metres using 215mm of zoom. I am pleased to say that it remained basking as I slowly moved away.
