One of my first attempts to portrait. The model is my 8 y/o boy.

Strobist: I used a TT520 Speedlite flash de-attached on a direct angle to my left, no tripod just handheld. No umbrella only a small diffuser on the flash and triggered by remote connected in the hotshoe. I used Photoshop to convert to B&W and keep the eyes colored.

Done
