Catholic Education Sunday 2022 at OLPS!

Were you here over the weekend for Catholic Education Sunday? 😃 OLPS worked together with St Stephen's School and our very own junior lector volunteers, and junior hospitality ministers, for the collections at every Mass in support of Catholic Education Sunday 2022.

 

📚 The goals of CES are:

1) Thanksgiving of Catholic Schools and Educators for 170 years of Catholic Education

2) Promotion of Catholic Schools to parishioners

3) Fostering of partnership between schools, families and parishes

4) Sharing of One Catholic Education

 

We had a photobooth in the parish hall to commemorate this occasion, and gave out free instant photos and photo frames. ️ Many parents and children took photos and could even customise their photo frames at decoration stations. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves. 👪

 

We also prayed a special Catholic Educators prayer 🙏 at every Mass, and prayer cards were given out to all Mass attendees! If you missed, you may find them at the flyers rack outside the OLPS Office or the foyer.
