NRHS Charter
A trio of Union Pacific E9s pull a National Railway Historical Society charter on the former D&RGW through Mesa, Utah on June 25, 1997. The 16-car special is passing a group of Texas Longhorns enjoying an otherwise peaceful morning in actor Wilford Brimley's ranch in Lehi. UP 951, 963B, and 949 will spend the day pulling the charter more than 250 miles between the UP depot in Salt Lake City, east via the Rio Grande to Provo, west via the Sharp Sub to Lynndyl, returning east to Salt Lake City via the Lynndyl Sub through Tooele.
