Provo Yard in 1977

Union Pacific TR5 No. 1875 locks couplers with Union Pacific SD40 No. 3019 and Rio Grande SD45 No. 5337 in Provo, Utah on July 17, 1977. While most of the steam-era facilities had been demolished nearly a decade earlier, the old car shop and turntable were present until the early 1980s when they too were deemed surplus and dismantled.
