FDI in food processing jumps 43% in FY17 to $727 million

HYDERABAD: India’s food processing industry received 43% higher foreign direct investment (FDI) in the fiscal 2016-17 on the back of favourable policy measures, said Anuradha Prasad, joint secretary, Union Ministry of Food Processing.
