When I got the vintage gacha dress from Belle Epoque, I really wanted to do pics in the 1920s NYC sim. In the back of my mind, though it just brought memories of playing "Clue (aka Cluedo)" as a kid and I just had this bug in my ear about Miss Scarlet and candlesticks in the Billiards room. I finally badgered by friend Alicia West into assisting me and we took the pic shown here. Somehow it just did not do it for me so I decided to embed it in a newspaper and write copy for it that at least after three glasses of wine seemed pretty funny to me.
I do not want to feel responsible for anyone getting eye strain to read the copy in the left margin. I am reproducing it (probably not exactly) here:
Detectives working on the long standing Mystery surrounding the Death of Ms. “Eiloo” Body finally ferreted out the heinous killer. After many attempts to match suspects with weapons and locations to solve the baffling crime, Detective Inspector Suni “Blind Bat” Meness told the stunned press conference confidentially that the video cameras secreted around the premises led to the breakthrough. “We had many technical challenges before we were able to mine this crucial source of evidence and definitely identify Miss “Alicia” Scarlet as the murderer.” “We are still in the dark about why Miss Scarlet should kill Ms. Body” Said the Detective Chief Inspector. “We are sure she did not like Ms. Body. It appears few did.”
Speaking on condition of anonymity, Detective Constable Jo “Whorsie” Soosung detailed the many challenges the Detective Chief Inspector encountered in solving the mystery. “Well first the tellie was on the fritz,” The constable told SL Scandals. “Then of course we had to find the bloody remote.” When asked why it took months to find the remote, she said “Oh that was was not the end of the problems. The tapes were all VHS. Who has one of those things around any more. We had to wait to find one on E-Bay.”
Miss Scarlet through her lawyer stated: “This is all a big misunderstanding. It was a simple accident. I look forward to my vindication..”
For the record...it took much longer to mark up the newspaper than to do the pic.
