Checking levels
Dougie in the garage, checking the oil levels. Being 92 years old, the dear old Alfa Romeo uses a bit of oil.
Nice to see Dougie keeps the work-boots polished. Always looking immaculate!
It was one of those amazing coincidences that the oil bottle in Dougie's hand is at exactly the height of the oil tank filler pipe! And, another of those little details on the model that amazes me, the oil filler pipe actually has an openable hinged cap on it, as does the fuel tank nozzle at the rear. The little Shell oil bottle sitting on the running board is just 12mm, or half an inch tall.
A 12 image focus stack of a CMC 1/18th scale model 1930 Alfa Romeo 6C. 1/18th scale mechanic, and 1/18th scale Shell oil bottle. Jpegs processed on DPP4 and shot at f8, 1/2 second at ISO640. Mix of natural daylight and LED lighting, using Canon RP with 35mm macro.
Zoom in for lots of detail!
