A Sapphire Where Effort is Still Made

Derby’s Sapphire service is the 38 to Sinfin & Stenson Fields. 4401 is one of 7 E400s still branded for the route, which shows that at least Derby still make an effort with their Sapphire service, then again, so do Thurmaston.

 

I was hoping to encounter 4542 and 4545 which have been doing Derby services in their Sapphire livery, but they must have been on the X38 which doesn’t serve the bus station.

 

4401 moved to Aylesbury in August 2021 along with 4400.
