Filers, Ilfracombe THM548M

Pictured at the Ilfracombe depot is this Daimler Fleetline new as London Transport DMS1548 with a Leyland 0680 engine. Converted to single door it then had a varied life with Castleways of Winchcombe, Berkeley Coaches of Paulton then Somerbus who sold it to Filers. It then went on to be used as an open top tour bus in London. Taken from a negative bought with copyright.
