Sung And Sasha's Fotos

Sung and Sasha are friends we met on our first morning to go into Petra. We met on the elevator, and immediately found ourselves very comfortable with each other. We spent most of the next 36 hours together, with the highlight of being invited to the Ramadan evening meal, Iftar, by our guide Sufian.

These pictures are from Sung, who is Korean American, a physics teacher in Los Angeles and who has been on sabbatical for over a year, travelling around the world. Sasha is his friend from Slovenia, which for all of you may need to know where it is, is to the immediate northeast of Italy, once part of Yugoslavia. Sasha works for Shell, responsible for building convenience gas stations in Slovenia.
