Krakora-Light

I believe I met the goal of effectively using the element of light to improve the photograph I took. My picture has a light source in it that made a regular hand shadow turn into a really cool and unique design. My picture uses hard light since there is a small light source and the shadows have hard edges on them. I decided to take the picture at night so that the only light source would be from my iPhone's flashlight. I had my mom put her hand very close to the wall, and positioned my brother, who was holding the light, so that this cool shadow design would show up correctly on our hallway wall. I took many pictures, but I chose this one in particular because the picture is focused and none of the shadows are too close to each other. I edited the picture by darkening the area behind the hand, and I turned up the saturation only a little bit to add color to the hand. I really liked how the photo turned out, and I also liked how the shadows faded away on the wall. I think I could have edited the picture more to make the hand have more color to it.
