S7453 - Nethybridge Hotel

NJ 0022 2071, LR36.

 

HISTORY

After emplacement this flush bracket originally levelled and verified during 1953. Levelled with a height of 694.274 feet, it was included on the Rothiemay to Boat of Garten secondary levelling line. The surveyor's description was NE face, N angle, Nethybridge Hotel, SE side of road. This flush bracket was levelled again in 1973. The surveyor's description was hotel, N angle, NE face. This marker was last verified in 1973.

 

SITE VISIT

The bracket is on the left gable of the hotel by the front corner. Flush with the ground but in good condition. Open access. The footpath to Cromwells Hill is sponsored by the Nethybridge Hotel.
