Singing Frog

Dark and low is the light

as the frog sings at night.

 

Somewhere in the distance two frogs dance.

 

She listens in the moonlight

while he croons to her delight.

 

The lily pad by chance

is the right size for this dance.

 

Closer now she's in his sight,

as the frog sings at night.

 

Together now in a lover's trance

the two enjoy a song and dance.
