On the way up to rifugio Locatelli and the Tre Cime, starting from Val Fiscalina, a 900m plus climb - the easier way is from rifugio Auronzo on the Cortina d'Ampezzo side although it is fairly crowded. Still early morning with the sun barely up behind the surrounding mountains.
