Photo #2
Objective 3: Composition Techniques – Use the guide on the website
1. Rule of Thirds- rule of thirds broken to create a unique look and angle with the car
7. Texture- HDR done to give the photo more life and interest to the eye
9. Colour- altered due to HDR which creates a unique vibrancy to the photo
Objective 4: Lighting (side, back, soft, hard, fill)
Types of lighting and how they contribute to the image:
Fill Lighting, i enjoyed this type of lighting because of the way the light from the sun reflects off the car to me makes the photo more interesting than if it didn't have it.
Objective 6: Critique
Analyse your photograph for strengths and areas for improvement (consider composition, lighting, exposure, overall feel, etc.)
Strength: i believe that the slight tilt to the photo helps to make the photo stronger by assuring the attention be on the vehicle
Area for growth: i believe that if i got even lower i could have created a even more interesting Photo and a better perspective
Objective 7: Photographic Styles (ex. portrait, landscape, etc.) – Explain why the settings and composition are appropriate for the style of photography. (How did you create the shot?)
ive always been very interested before i was ever in a photography class on how a shot was created and how it was made to look like that. i enjoy how HDR changes the look of the photo especially with old vintage vehicles or more sporty cars. i believe the brightness was set at -1 and +1
Type/style of photography: HDR
The camera mode (P, Tv, Av, M): AV
f stop used: 5.6
shutter speed used: 1/2000
ISO used: 800
Exposure compensation: Auto
Focal length: 29.00 mm
