Moonrise at very early morning twilight from 2400m over telescopes at the Observatorio Roque de Los Muchachos on the Island of La Palma in the Canary Islands.
The shell-like structures to the left belong to the Superwasp Qatar Telscope facility (Belfast). The shed-like stucture below the ridge at centre is the Superwasp (U.K.) and atop the ridge to the left is the Jacobs Kaplyen Telescope (no longer in use). Please refer to the following links:
