Railways in Cuba 2002 and 2003

I made two trips to Cuba to photograph steam operations serving sugar mills with Steam in Paradise. 2002 was the last year in which steam traction was used extensively during the Zafra (sugar harvest). In 2003 only a few mills continued to use steam power and many of the photos were taken on charters, The images are all scans of 35mm colour slides. The captions are rather sketchy - it will be a while before I can fill in the gaps.
