Objective 3: Elements and Principles of Design

The principles of Design demonstrated:

-Emphasis: I used the Rules of Thirds and placed the Leaf with the water drops the left corner. The background is black and white.

Contrast: The contrast is between the yellow Leaf with the water drops and the black and white background. The leaf looks like life and autumn.

The elements of design demonstrated:

-Colour: The yellow Leaf in the foreground and the black and white background. It makes your eyes staring at the Leaf.

-Texture: The yellow leaf looks like autumn and the time before winter.

-Lines: The lines are curves which makes it a soft picture without a difference between the lines.

 

Object 4: Lighting

Type of lighting and why: I’ve shot this photo outside on a sunny day. The light is coming from above, because I’ve shot the photo in the sun.

 

Object 5: Post Production

I change the picture to black and white. After that I coloured the leaf in it’s real colour back. I’ve also change the size of the photo to 1000.

 

Object 6: Critique

-Strenght: I like this photo because of the contrast between the background and the leaf.

-Growth: The next time I would choose an photo which I’ve made inside and not outside.
