RAF Vulcan XM609

My first photo of a Vulcan and in this case XM609 at RAF Mildenhall at an early Air Fete in October 1972.

 

At the time, this aircraft was with 44 Squadron at RAF Waddington but when Vulcans were withdrawn from service this particular aircraft was scrapped (in August 1981)
