Ich war noch ganz jung, als ich dieses Bild malte. Ich bin selber sehr groß und erschrak damals über die Hinrichtung dieses riesigen Baumes. So wollte ich auf keinen Fall enden, dachte ich.
I was still quite young when I painted this picture. At the sight, I was shocked at the execution of this giant. So I did not want to end up, I thought.
