Facelift
2012 marks the 100th Birthday of the Alberta Legislative building. This iconic Alberta landmark sits just south of downtown Edmonton near the bank of the North Saskatchewan river valley. Like any centigenarian, the legislative building is in need of some upgrading. The building is currently made entirely of sandstone, and now the tiles of the dome are going to be replaced with copper which will match the domes of the other legislative buildings across our country.
