Tomorrow is retrieval day, which means anesthesia (and a cussing IV, which I am already dreading because IVs are always an ordeal with my truculent veins). Since they want someone with you for 24 hours after anesthesia, my parents are coming over for the rest of the day, and I felt that the least I could do to repay this kindness was to feed them. Hence, I have (almost) all the ingredients for Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken (allrecipes.com/recipe/slow-cooker-cilantro-lime-chicken/d...) ready. Once I get home tomorrow morning post-retrieval, I just have to throw in the chicken and cilantro and turn the thing on. I highly recommend the recipe... it's SCRUMPTIOUS! We use it for chicken tacos for days after making it. Mmmm, chicken tacos....
