Ottobre 'Rebellious' Jacket
From the 06/2009 issue.
Without sounding 'stuck up', I'm giving myself a huge pat on the back for this jacket. I've not made a jacket this complex before and it's turned out even better than I expected. I learnt a lot of things along the way, and have a list of more things I NEED to learn, but that's what it's all about, right?
The jacket is made from baby corduroy, interlined with flannel and lined with a satin-y fabric. Everything, except the buttons, was gifted to me or leftover from another project, so the jacket ended up costing me $2!
I didn't make any changes (intentionally) from the original pattern - except for the button closure.
