Stage 1: Gathering of Raw Materials
In order to gather raw materials for this project I considered all the work I had previously done. I also considered scenarios / scenes from the many graphic novels I have read. Other ideas circulated in my mind from the many films I have watched over the years.
Stage 2: Working Over the Gathered Materials
I went over the vast array of ideas in my head making a note of those ideas that were worth giving further consideration and putting to one side those that at present didn't seem worth considering. The initial part of my idea generating process was now complete.
Stage 3: Incubation
The hard work was now done; I had brought together all my options. I was now going to mull it over in my mind and wait for all the component parts to come together and form one outstanding idea.
Stage 4: Birth of the Idea
The decision was made; the idea foremost in my mind was the Space Ship with a humorous twist.
Stage 5: Shaping & Development
I roughly sketched a few scenarios and let them develop on the paper in front of me. After discarding a few which didn't seem to flow as well as the others and fine tuning the couple that remained I decided to go with the one that you see before you now.
