macro spider

I noticed this spider with a freshly captured fly and I could not resist snapping a few (hundred) shots :)

I shot mostly in aperture priority with an off camera flash. Experimented with depth of field, flash placement, etc. Not yet sure what I learned, but I had fun doing it!

All shots were hand-held and straight out of the camera.

I am amazed at the capability of the 105 VR lens!!
