Hedychium coccineum, also known as Orange Ginger and Orange Ginger lily, is a plant with intense flowering.

Native to Asia, it grows on the edge of forests, grasslands and mountains.

 

Hedychium coccineum prefers partial shade but can tolerate full sun.

 

The color of the flowers can vary from red to orange to almost yellow. This plant grows to about 1.5 meters tall.
