The Great Divide

The split in the heart of the earth, taking over millions of years to form is just too grand to fit into one perspective. May be that is the reason I always keep going back to it.

For a long time, I have been wanting to see the Grand Canyon in snow. I headed there as soon as I got the news. I barely had time to park and reach the rim, when the light was going down. Too bad the west rim points which are great for sunset were closed because of snow, but I think this perspective of the Grand Canyon sunset is also interesting.

This is from the Yavapai point.
