FROM TODAY, sept. 29, 2023 ALL MY PHOTOS ARE PUBLIC DOMAIN. My pro account expires July 1, 2024. Then about 80% of my images will be deleted. I don't know which ones, but will try to delete the least interesting photos myself - if my health allows me.

My main goal when taking a picture is to try to show the rest of the world something they have missed because:

- it was too far away

- it was too small to notice

- it happened too fast

- they simply weren't there when it happened

...or to remind people of something interesting or beautiful in general or to show things from a different angle.

I love birds and to try to get good photos of the species I encounter.

I also love taking 1:1 macro shots of insects!

I like to take nature/landscape images in general.

Since August 2016 I have also been busy shooting 360 photo spheres, posting a few here and a lot on Google Maps Streetview.

I'm not shooting photos all the time. Because of my health, I can shoot thousands of photos in good periods and then nothing for a half year. Because of that I always have a huge backlog of not published or even edited photos. Now and then in somewhat good periods I spend a lot of time editing and preparing photos for my Flickr account.

Why no portraits or pictures of people? Well - the people around me don't like it when I point the camera in their direction and I don't think it is right to post pictures of people on the Internet without their approval.

I really appreciate constructive critic to my photos. I know most of them could be improved, but in many cases, I don't know how - to please tell me!
