I reside in southern seacoast Maine, minutes from Portsmouth NH and within 1-2 hours of Boston, Portland and the White Mountains.

Way back in 1984-86 I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC and studied Illustration and photography. My career took a turn to something completely non related and all art and photography went on the back burner.

I eventually moved to the New England and have lived in various places along the Seacoast. I've always loved photography but in the days of film and 4x6 prints there wasn't too much to inspire me at the time. Fast forward to about 2003 and my first digital camera was a pretty nice all metal Canon Powershot S50 and next thing you know I'm taking pics again.

I eventually moved over to Nikon with a D50, then D80, D7000 and currently I shoot a Nikon Df and D810. In 2011 I started to travel to different areas for dedicated photo shoots and I haven't stopped since. I enjoy Cities and Architecture, Mountains and nature, and of course the Seacoast and Portsmouth. I love crazy wide angle, B/W, street photography, night photography and long exposure and I'm always trying something new. I have also had a renewed interest in film the past year and am a fan of Eisenstadt, Steichen, Brassai, Galen Rowell, Jay Maisel, Winogrand and many others. While I enjoy the perfection of digital, especially for low light situations, I love the look and texture and unpredictability of film and I'm probably shooting about 50/50. I do my own developing and printing with an Epson 3880 on assorted papers.
