A photographer who loves Dutch shots, starburst effects, large apertures for narrow DoF, straight lines, sunsets, sunrises but sunsets are better for my body clock.

Started with a Praktica B100 when I was 7, a Pentax MZ7 when I was 26 (yes, the Praktica lasted that long), yet I honestly don't think I improved as a photographer until I bought a Nikon D90 when I was 34, having been inspired by my partner's work. Now with a D600 and loving being back in full frame land.

Sculpture, skin, colour, contrasting textures, delicate gradation of colour, bursting with light.

I love photographing artwork yet I want to work more with people. My personal challenge is breaking through the barrier of connectivity when doing portraiture; i've got the gear but no idea.

Looking to work with both fashion, figure and face models to develop their portfolio for free. Love doing events, and love having a clear brief!
