I am totally committed to Printmaking/Etching/Engraving. My work is about the human spirit.I record with an emotional invented image of evil in the human condition and man's inhumanity to mankind.

My life's work is committed to understanding the process that makes one person full of love, respect and giving, and another person, a violent bastion of hate. I add prose/poetry to my invented image, and have done so for forty nine years.

Born in Montreal, Canada, in 1933 of mixed blood, speaking three languages, French, German and Dutch, my first nine years were filled with cultural upheavals, opera, classical music, literature, and then unexpected poverty and repeated injustices. I did not attend school until I was nine, and did not read English until I was twelve. I was memorizing Shakespeare by age seventeen, and have been keeping a journal ever since I was twenty.

Humanity's Rights, but especially women's and children's rights and the reform of these rights, are my areas of concentration. I am a survivor. I am a workaholic, hyper, an insomniac, and ambidextrous. I am dyslexic, which makes me a master print maker...everything is upside down! My right side is a negative side...I do not trace, copy or proof because I already see the image. I have recently added the dimension of portrait painting, but have to do the hands and feet by looking into a mirror.

Children's "Artbookworks" and illustrations, children's language books are part of my world since 1988 when my first of four grandchildren was born. Landscapes and flowers were added in 1998

I consider the Camera as a great tool for recording and documentation. I purchased my fist Zeiss in 1950, and became a passionate photographer in the 1970's. I have a large collection of my own works, other photographer's works, and family photography from the 19th century. I do not compete with God's images and of my cameras!
