Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and degenerative disc disease (DDD) are my official diagnosis.

More recently I was also diagnosed with major depressive and generalized anxiety disorders. Due to my illnesses, I am challenged by self-harm and suicidal ideation.

I cope with my illnesses by taking short walks alone and doing photography when my health allows. This Flicker account will show a side of my photography which until now I have kept to myself.

I have a desire to express my thoughts and feelings about my illnesses. Since I have problems communicating with words, I prefer expression through images I create.

You may notice that I often use home-made pinhole and busted toy cameras. They are the ideal tools to make my images - full of flaws, scratches, light-leaks, and blur. I feel these raw and dark images best reflect my broken and imperfect life, but one that is filled at times with emerging light, possibilities, and creativity.
