Hi I'm Nick. I hope you enjoy my pictures and I appreciate any feedback you may have. If you'd like to get in touch then I welcome new friends from the Flickr community.

A little about me - I was the Senior Designer for the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT), based at their beautiful nature reserve HQ, for nearly 8 years, so many of my images are wildlife related. Over the years assignments have included photographing celebrities such as David Attenborough, Chris Packham, Bill Oddie and Kate Humble (to name a few), documenting behind the scenes of BBC's Autumnwatch, events at the House of Lords and City Hall and general activities at WWT Slimbridge such as annual wild swan catches.

Travel plays an important role in my photography - you'll see pictures from Australia, New Zealand, Borneo, Thailand, Japan, Canada, Europe, Hawaii, Fiji, UAE. I have also conducted many people shoots for businesses however these are generally not included.

I have been published in magazines including Cotswold Life and Venue (plus Editor's photo of the month in BBC WIldlife) plus books including BBC's Nature's Calendar, Teach Yourself Birdwatching (Hodder) and Watching Waterbirds (A&CBlack) to name a few.

I'm not defined by my equipment and use whatever I have on me at the time - this includes an iPhone which can take spectacular panoramas. Otherwise most tend to be a Canon DSLR.
