Photography is something I just picked up a year ago from my girlfriend to balance my right brain. I'm more of a artistic person to be honest, both of my parents have MA degrees. Somehow I'm becoming an engineer.

I'm currently pursuing a Electrical Engineering degree from Polytechnic University of NYU (aka NYU Poly), I tend to look at photography from a rather technical perspective. Thus I love to use cutting edge technologies to create my work.

On the weekends or whenever I'm free, I will just grab my ipod and my Canon 30D and camp out to do some shots. Usually I find something interesting online or flickr, I will look at the tutorials and try to experiment them -- Weekend homework, as I call it.

I never had a problem carrying around a gigantic camera with a relatively huge lens in New York City, people will just think I'm a tourist anyways. In St.Louis it gets a little funky sometimes. People might think I'm a weirdo, which I don't really care.

In the future, I will definitely dig into video editing, once I get the money to buy some sweet ass High Def video Cameras. The new Nikon D90 supports HD 720p quality videos now. Which is awesome because you can apply different lenses. Canon rumored its 5D Mark II is gonna have a hd video too.

I'm also looking to get a smaller compact size camera that has video capability. I need something small that's easier to carry around for a day to day life. So far I'm looking into Canon TX-1, since it's small, compact, slick looking and best of all, 720p HD video capability.

And to end, I'm hoping to travel more in the future, which has always been a dream since childhood. I will try to bring more exciting photos to you.
