I have always been fascinated with color and form. When I was little (just a few years ago, of course ... eh-hum!), I colored just about anything and everything. Since my mother was an artist, I was blessed to always have paper and coloring books, pens, markers and crayons handy. I just never knew what to do with all "that," so I initially chose a quite drab career for myself (huge apology to all you bankers out there!). Becoming older (but just a little) and wiser (hopefully, a lot) I realized I needed to get into a more creative line of work. So, for the last few years (read: decade and a half) I have made my living as an art director. But, I still felt like I needed a more personal outlet for my creativity, so I tried silver smithing and loved it—for a season, or two. Several years back, I bought a couple of strands of pearls after seeing a necklace I just knew I could make for a fraction of the price, and the rest, as they say, is history. Beading has become a passion of mine, and after selling my pieces to mostly friends and coworkers, I decided it was time for a bigger audience (besides, I'm running out of space for jewelry storage). I hope you enjoy looking at and, maybe one day, wearing what I love making.

I don't traditionally set out to make matching sets, however, sometimes I just can't help myself! Custom orders are always welcome. Even matching sets, if that is your preference. : )

One day, out of the blue, Katja sent me a convo through Etsy saying Hi - from one Swede to another. We clicked immediately. Now we talk every day and we laugh ALOT. She is of course completely crazy and will say just about anything, but a nicer, sweeter, more hilarious and talented woman is hard to find. She genuinly cares and I am so fortunate to call her my friend. She is one classy lady, this one. Even if she is crazy. ;-)
