I have been a fan of 2000AD and it's character's for many many years now in particular Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, Slaine, Nemesis and the ABC Warriors. The stories and artwork are second to none and feel proud of a comic and characters that have been created in the U.K. by some of the best writers and artists in the business.

When I found out that they were making and going to release a Judge Dredd movie I was over the moon, elated etc. Like so many other fans I was so disappointed when it was released, poor acting, poor script, mish mash of stories as well as poor to average reproduction of the Judge Costume itself, (don't get me started on the codpiece). For years afterwards I looked in magazines as well as the internet for props, costumes and comic accurate reproductions of the Judge Costume to no avail although eventually I did find a U.K based website that create some elements of a Judge Costume 'www.termight.co.uk' available to buy at fair prices.

Because I am artistic in nature and have previously enjoyed drawing my own versions of Judge Dredd and other fav characters I decided to have a go in early 2007 at crafting my own Judge costume. It took me approx. 5 months to build it and when I finished the costume I was very happy with how it turned out. I wanted to improve on the design though so I sold it many months afterwards to fund my next project and told myself I would come back to building another Judge costume later.

Since then I have made several pairs of Wolverine Claws, a Lawgiver MK2, another Judge Helmet and Rogue Trooper's equipment (Gunnar and Bagman, Helm was made by another model/prop maker and bought for me as a present). I recently attended Movie Mania 3 at the NSC in Leicester as Rogue Trooper so if you were there you may have seen me or even said hello!

My second much improved Judge costume is now finished and and pic's have been posted. There are other costumes in the pipeline to be made also so please feel free to check back on my progress, thanks!
