Hello, I am a lifelong birder and retired photojournalist living on the Isle of Portland in Dorset, on the south coast of England. I now photograph wildlife, specifically gulls and terns for plumage and identification study purposes. All the gulls here were photographed in the month shown in the album titles. The birds' ages in calendar years (CY) will be accurate in most, if not all cases; this is based on the normal plumage characteristics for that species. A small minority of birds could potentially have advanced or retarded moult however, which would result in the occasional discrepancy. If you spot any mistakes please do let me know.
