A camera is an awkward companion to travel with. Moments do not wait though, and as I travel around Europe and North America it is always rewarding to have a camera within reach, whether results amount to a bounty of shots or even just a single still in a week of waiting.

My background is in IT, communications, and journalism and this points me towards the story behind a picture, rather than the artistry in technique and photo editing which others do so very well.
