My mom bought me my first camera when I was 2 years old, it was made of plastic, but fantastic!!! Then when I was 11 my dad bought me a new 110... a couple years later another plastic 35 mm and then when I was 21 my mom bought me a decent Canon for Christmas. When I was younger I only shot pictures of my little brother and our family pets. My sister and I would dress my brother up in our clothes, we even indulged in the occassional makeup, on him, not us.

Mostly I enjoy close ups.... I always crop pictures much closer then most people would recommend, but it's my style and I am happy with it. My greatest joy in photgraphy is children. They go about playing and such and all I have to do is follow far enough behind as not to be noticed. Children are so natural and the multitude of facial expression leaves nothing to be desired.
