We have been trading for 27 years and are at the heart of the community in the county town of Taunton. We keep a unique mix of new and secondhand books that distinguish us from the chain booksellers, provide a fast and efficient service for ordering books, serve our customers tea and coffee, hold regular author talks, and host a regular book club meetings. We also work with local schools, the library, the Castle Hotel and the local theatre on events. We have a great deal of experience in hosting author talks and signings. Recent authors have included Helen Dunmore, Penelope Lively, Salley Vickers, Douglas Hurd, Martin Bell, Chris Mullins, Paul Atterbury, David Crystal and Carol Drinkwater.
