Having allowed 11 years lapse since qualifying in Fine Art with honours at Bretton Hall, I picked up a camera initially to capture family life, but quickly realized I had a flair and a keen interest to learn, develop and start to work in a more creative and ambitious way with people.

In October 2014 I began doing promotional work for the Carriacou Jack Clothing brand, then provided the photographic art for Leeds Hiphop artist Daddy Abe's LP, then ESKAR's LP too. I practice Portraiture regularly, mostly location based work, utilizing multiple flash units and diffusers to make the subject really stand out. I like to play with colour, paint with light, and darkness to add drama where possible. I work in Lightroom predominantly, and sometimes in Photoshop when editing my shoots.

I am an amateur with ambition, an open and creative mind and willing attitude. I would welcome working collaborately with models, make-up artists and designers alike to create some interesting works and develop my portfolio, and of course I am more than happy for models to bring a chaperone.

I actually really enjoy the editing side of photography, and usually can't wait to sit at my laptop and get the edits done - models, no 3 month wait here!

Besides people, I shoot landscapes, cityscapes, urban environments that interest me, occasionally willing to camp out in order to capture some special light!

I have no interest in nudity or adult themes and can assure you I will not be the 'guy with a camera' you dread. Besides photography I work full time for a well known charity supporting people with disabilities to gain job skills or retain their employment.
