I am an architect and have been pointing around at stuff with a camera ever since my father handed me an SLR-his old Praktica. A total amateaur, I have never really been able to educate myself regarding the technical details, though I would love to someday. I love to find frames in all that I see around me, rather than frame shots deliberately. My profession and main interest being historic architecture, I find a lot of subjects in my travels and during my work. Currently armed with a normal Canon 5 mega pixel digicam, I am limited to composition and have to leave the real skill to the camera. Hoping to return soon to the SLR days, when perfect shots will be fewer, but the thrill of having captured a perfect shot will be manifold......
