Ricky Trione is a blind artist, who lives in Fairhope, Alabama. He uses a lot of textures to be able to feel the images as he draws and paints them. Ricky is very passionate about sharing his love for the Arts and Creativity with others, especially children. Ricky and his wife, Bonnie, visit schools all over the State of Alabama, sharing his inspirational story and then teaches the children how to create art a different way, by using other senses, like the senses of touch and spacial.

Ricky lost his sight in both eyes in two separate accidents, within a seven year period. The first eye was hit by a rock that was slung through the opened widow of his car, while working with the U.S. Army. The second eye was hit by a bit strip of tire tread that was slung by an 18 Wheeler Truck, August 2000. Both, injuries resulted in his vision loss.
