Hello, I am a retired mechanical engineer specializing in building mechanical systems. I am married, 46 years now, with two daughters and live in Seattle, WA. My main interest, since I am red-green colourblind, is black and white photography. and so by extension, I tend to see images in terms of monochrome forms and shapes. It seems that sometimes the actaul image gets lost in the colours. I should add that I am most comfortable with film. Although, I have a digital camera, Nikon D-750, I really have not adapted to the digital format. Other interests are: ships, trains, any related machinery, and especially British history in the period from about 1880 to 1960. I have not posted many photos, because, over time, I have learned that, unfortunately, I take photos like an engineer would take, therefore, most are not very interesting. Once in a while, I get fortunate and take a reasonably good image.
