I enjoy taking macro pictures of nature and landscapes. I would like to learn more about photography and how to structure photos better and how to use filters. I would also like to learn other types of photography such as portraits and special events. Learning how to manipulate shutter speeds for special effects would also be something I would like to accomplish.

I am not trained in photography by any means, but I find taking pictures enjoyable and relaxing. I enjoy viewing others' pictures a great deal. I took more photography when I used my old-fashioned, real film 35 mm camera that I also had macro-lenses for. As many know, using a non-digital 35 mm is a little more challenging today. I would love to get a digital 35 mm, but cost is an issue right now for me. I have a basic digital camera that works for everyday things and can take some decent pictures but feel more limited by it.
