I have lived in Thailand for over eleven years, having been a regular holiday visitor for many years before that.

My wife is Thai and we have a house with a two acre garden in a small community in rural Thailand. The big attractions of Thailand are the friendly smiling people and the ever-present community spirit. There is always some social function going on where everyone in the neighbourhood are warmly welcomed. There is a strong feeling of inclusion in the community.

As well as gardening, mt passion is understanding and writing about Thai lifestyle and culture. I founded a Facebook group called "Discussing the Real Thailand" where I encourage comment from others.
