Born 16.04.1950 in Berne Switzerland. Studied medicine and worked in my own practice for 35 years, now parttime in a medical center. Using my former practice, which is attached to our home as a photo-workshop.

Having been a black and white analoge photographer since the age of 18, my strongest interest lies now in alternative photography and printing. I'm using large and medium format cameras like Rolleiflex, Hasselblad, Linhof 4x5", an antique Lancaster 4.7x6.5" and a Wisman 8x10". After a lot of experimenting I'm now quite familiar with the colloid wetplate technique as well as with salt and cyanotype printing. I never warmed up for digital photographie because I like to control the whole photographic process myself rather than leaving it to a black box.
