I take photos as and when I can. I use a Nikon D80 and D40. I currently love my Nikkor 28mm f2.8mm lens, which is really sharp and wide enough to keep the 50mm f1.8 in the bag most of the time. I also use the Nikkor 18-55 and 55-200 but rarely use these as I love the quality of my primes.
