I consider myself an amateur wildlife photographer. I enjoy traveling to places that have lots of animals to photograph. So,

I have been to the Peruvian Amazon, Brazilian Pantanal, Tanzania, Borneo, Costa Rica and more. I try to capture my subjects in natural settings doing what they do. While I am not a professional, I do take my photography very seriously. My degrees are in Zoology and Wildlife Management.

Photographing animals is more then showing up and pushing a button. You need to understand their habits and behaviors to find them and capture the image. Though I will admit there is a certain amout of luck involved, (being at the right place and time). I must admit that the exhilaration I feel when I have a subject in my viewfinder is amazing.
